Pennsylvania’s students have fallen behind because of virtual learning, lower school standards, and political agendas. Brittany will advocate for Parental Choice. Parents are a child’s first teacher, and they should have absolute say in what and how their children learn. We must restore parental authority over children’s education. As mandated by the Department of Education, one-size-fits-all education is holding America’s children back. Every child is different. Every community is diverse.
Brittany will accomplish this by:
Drafting/supporting Legislation that encourages schools to ensure that every student is career/trade or college-ready. (Expanding programs that enable our youth to understand student loan debt, finances, and life skills.)
Drafting/supporting Legislation that enhances technical and vocational education opportunities, including apprenticeships with business while in high school.
Drafting/supporting Legislation that returns local, community, and parental control over education.
Drafting/supporting Legislation requiring all schools receiving state funds to teach civics and all U.S. History in detail. (Our youth should know our history, the good, the bad, and the ugly.)
Drafting/supporting Legislation that enables Parental choice options such as charter schools, home schools, vouchers, education savings accounts, and tax credits. Click here to see my road map to parental choice.
